Businesses today have so many different choices about how to market their products and services. From putting out a great website, to email marketing, plus the addition of various social media sites, and internet pay-per-click ads. But, what about the old-fashioned promotional products emblazoned with your name and logo?
You might think you’re wasting your money on the production of promotional items in 2013, but there’s actually research that says this is not the case. Studies show consumers are much more likely to keep items they find useful, such as pens, pads, or tote bags.
In fact, another study found 90% of people could not only remember the promotional item they received, but also the company’s name attached to the freebie. Another study found that consumers are 40% more likely to do business with a company who gave them a logo-branded trinket.
So what types of products would consumers find most useful in 2013? Some of the trendier products today include: reusable grocery bags, water bottles, and USB memory sticks. US Imprints, a company that produces promotional items, reported their biggest-selling items last year included plastic sunglasses, pedometers, and hand sanitizer.
